In Italy , if on family reunion/dependent visa after posting the Permesso application by postal ,the postal receipt and Codice fiscal are enough to get a personal doctor assigned. We can get assigned a personal pediatrician for our child by visiting the local ASL office.
In india vaccination is voluntary ,not compulsory. In Italy it’s compulsory and requested in case of enrolling children in schools.
Most of the Vaccines are same as norm from WHO .So if some vaccines are already completed in india , please take file(Papers) containing the schedule calendar (detailing the complete record of vaccines finished by your child).
Pls Note: Some vaccines are scheduled in India, but not in Italy ( example-Typhoid prevention vaccine ,since its not common /not necessary in Italy) .And vice versa .
Personal pediatrician will not put vaccine .Each city/place has a central vaccine office (a kind of ASL) (in turinàVia della Consolata, 10, 10122 Torino) which will enroll and schedule the vaccine dates for each child.
First we have to visit this office and give our previous finished vaccine record , to have them understand the finished doses and what to continue here.They will provide an appointment (date) for admitting the vaccine .We have to visit that place on that appointment time and get vaccine injected to child .During the visit ,the appointment/schedule for next vaccine injection will be given .
