Hello everyone,
I believe every aspiring student would like to make a road trip in Italy or in Europe with his/her International driving license (if not , an European driving license). Of Course, for a student it is always easy to rent a car than to own one. Before renting a car or planning your trip, you must atleast consider the following things:
- Read the road rules, how to give way in a roundabout, etc.
- If you make an accident, read how to follow-up i.e., first to ensure the safety of the accident place, then give first-aid if necessary, then to call the police, and finally to your car rental or insurance agency. You must place a yellow triangle 100 meters before your car or accident zone, etc.
- If you rent a car from popular car-rental agencies, such as Europcar, Hertz, etc., they usually ask you to pay for the additional insurance CDW, or various names they have for it. You can avoid it by taking an annual insurance from https://icarhireinsurance.com . It is really a good option if you plan to make more than 2-3 road trips per year
https://icarhireinsurance.com - Understand the European rules and try to respect it.
