IMPORTANT:

 Go through this link about EDISU scholarship thoroughly : EDISU Scholarship
 Carry all your original documents and enough photocopies of your document while going to translation, VFS Italy, Consulate. (MOST MOST IMPORTANT)
 Make sure the valuation of the assets and income is within the limit mentioned in the above link.
 Make sure the area of the property is mentioned in square meters. The word ‘square metres’ must be present in the document.(MOST IMPORTANT)
 Since the application is for the year 2018, the income certificate must be prepared for the year 2016 or 2017 ONLY. Make sure the income certificate mentions either 2016 or 2017 and NOT FINANCIAL YEAR like 2016-2017 or similar. (MOST IMPORTANT)
 After the notary prepares the document for EDISU scholarship, HRD and MEA has to be done for the documents. One way of legalizing this is submitting these documents at VFS Italy which is a time taking process considering the limited time available for the deadline.
 An alternate acceptable option is to bring the documents to Italy and have it legalized at the courthouse here through an advocate which is very easy and takes a maximum of two days and another certificate preparation which takes another two days. Now the documents can be submitted at EDISU office.
 If the deadline for applying for accommodation + scholarship is say 8th September 2018 for example, you may have to come here at least 6 working days in advance to legalize the document at the courthouse, prepare a certificate at a government agency here and then the documents are now ready to be submitted for EDISU scholarship.
If you are opting only for tuition fee scholarship, the deadline will usually be some two to three weeks after the deadline for first case. You again have to be here at least 6 working days in advance since for both the scholarships, the documents to be prepared/time taken remain the same.
