Residence Permit request for Non- European Citizens

You should got to the International Affairs in your university to do this or from nearest post office.

The initial documents required are ,

1) Passport containing the entry visa stamp.

2) Photocopy of all pages o your passport ( including blank pages ) + 1 copy of the page with your personal data + 1 copy of your visa page

3) Photocopy of your Fiscal code ( codice fiscale )

4) Photocopy of the invitation letter ( admission letter ) stamped by the italian consulate when you get the visa

5) Certificate of enrollment

6) A 16€ Duty Stamp ( it is called marco do bollo ) - you can buy it in the Tabacchi shop

7) Photocopy of the document proving your sufficient income for the living or stay in italy ( you can use the scholarship letter )

8) A copy of the health insurance ( this has lot of formalities when u get the insurance from your own country) since you need to get that document stamped by the Italian embassy of your country. So its better to take the insurance before reaching italy.

Note: We can take insurance while applying residence permit in post office with the payment of 98€.
